Tandoori Chicken Drumettes



Ingredients: 
1 dozen chicken drummettes make a few slits with a sharp knife
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1 inch piece ginger, peeled, chopped
¾ cup low fat yogurt
½ teaspoon chili powder 1 green chili
½ teaspoon salt or to taste Sliced onions to serve
1 teaspoon garam masala (Indian spice blend)
A few drops orange food coloring (optional)
Juice of a lemon
A few lemon wedges to serve Cooking spray 
Method: 
1. Blend together in a blender, ginger, garlic, chili powder, green chili, yogurt, and garam masala to a paste and set aside.
2. Mix together in a small bowl, lemon juice, salt and food coloring. Rub this over the chicken drummettes. Refrigerate for about
30 minutes.
3. Remove from the refrigerator and add the blended mixture over it, toss well.
4. Cover and refrigerate for 6-7 hours. Stir in between a few times.
5. Remove from the refrigerator an hour before cooking.
6. Place the chicken drummettes on the air fryer grill pan. Retain the marinade.
7. Air fry the drummettes in a preheated air fryer at 390°F for 10 minutes.
8. Brush the drummettes with the marinade. Spray a little cooking spray.
9. Air fry for another 3-4 minutes.
10. Serve with sliced onions and lemon wedges.
